Come and join in a neighborhood tradition!

NFORMAL NEIGHBORHOOD

PARADE

MONDAY" JULY 4th

FOR OVER 20 YEARS MEMBERS OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD HAVE CELEBRATED THE 4TH OF JULY BY WALKING THROUGH OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IN AN INF-ORMAL PARADE.

Everyone Is welcome to be In the parade - friends & relatives. too! The parade starts at 10 a.m. at 46th Street and Manning. A map of the parade route Is on the other side of this sheet. Deputy Chief Larry Logsdon of the Marion County Sheriffs Department has agreed to lead the parade.

Decorate your BIKES. WAGONS. STROLLERS. PETS. YOURSELF and Join us anywhere on the route or walk the entire route with the band. If you prefer not to be in the parade, please be a spectator and cheer everyone as they go by!

The band (Jr. High. High School and Adults) will practice at 9:30 on July 4th near Mary Lou Woods' house at 3411 W.46th Street. PLEASE CALL ANYONE YOU KNOW. ESPECIALLY KIDS. AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO BE IN THE BAND! Adults. dust off those Instruments and Join the band too. The music is easy and you'll be surprised how easily the notes come back to you. There Is no rain date scheduled, so let's hope for good weather on July 4th. Northern Estates Homeowners Association (NEHA) will arrange for two water stations along the parade ­route and some refreshments at the end of the parade, but If July 4th Is warm you may also wish to bring a small water bottle with you.

NEHA will put small flags in yards along the parade route. If you kept your flag from last year we hope you will display It In your yard or carry it along with you In the parade. Additional flags will also be available at the parade, so come and pick up a flag!
