The rain dampened the ground but not the spirits of the participants and visitors to the 1st Annual Crooked Creek Kaleidoscope on April 27, 2002. The event was sponsored by CC PLUS. The theme for this year was Celebrating Our Diversity in a hope to highlight some of the unique aspects of the community. *Attractions for the day included* A Health Fair, Food Vendors from local restaurants, Booths for local businesses, Activities for Children (Bird House Building, Fire Safety, Crime Prevention, and Games), and Local Entertainers The event started at 11:00 a.m. and continued until 4:00 p.m.
